Although it’s usually The Rock who stretches beyond the limit when it comes to abusing The American Nightmare in the WrestleMania build-up session, Cody Rhodes was not far behind at all. At one point during their verbal war in the weekly shows, the former AEW man took his promos up a notch with some obnoxious non-PG language. Rhodes labeled The Rock an ”a**h*le” and referred to his ”LDS”–“little d**k syndrome” in between the final Bloodline promo ahead of the Shows of the Immortal.
The former Stardust, however, didn’t feel great about that, as it was not aligned with his true motive or his idealistic image to the youngsters.

Cody Rhodes has been on the top of his game as a baby face since his return to the company. WWE made him go the extra mile before giving him the prize he deserves. After receiving a shattering blow in WrestleMania 39, Rhodes bounced back and proved his worth by getting over multiple challenges. But throughout this entire journey of finishing his story, he had unwavering support from fans and lived up to that mark. But the extremely derogatory thing he said to The Rock during a pre-Mania promo might not be ideal and healthy for his young fans and family persons.
Realizing the fact, during a candid chitchat with SI Media podcast, Rhodes confessed, “I felt a little guilty because I have a lot of young, young, young fans and I would never want them to ask their mom about ‘LDS’ or this or that. My run with WWE has been really for the family audience, and really for the little nightmares, these little kiddos. I just wouldn’t want to lead them astray in any way and hopefully, that interview didn’t turn them off to me, if I am their guy, as their guy. Everyone after was so pumped about it, my wife was digging it, and I remember thinking I felt a little guilty.”
