The Premium Live Event Elimination Chamber 2022 took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The event’s main card kicked off with The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns defending the WWE Universal Championship against The Icon Goldberg. However, the match result was quite disappointing.

It was already speculated that this would be Goldberg’s last match in the WWE. Despite Golberg’s two ‘spears’ on the Needle Mover, Reigns locked The Icon in ‘guillotine choke.’

WWE fans react to the Universal Title match at Elimination Chamber

The WWE Universal title match was very short and did not live up to the fans’ expectations. Therefore, after the results, fans stormed on social media to react to the match. Some fans took to Twitter and stated that Saudi Arabia wanted to spend money, and they did by spending it on the WWE Hall of Famer.

Meanwhile, some fans were not happy and furious with WWE for departing the legend Goldberg in such a poor manner.

Some WWE fans also shared the thought that Goldberg had his hands on the rope when he was in the corner during the lock.

WWE fans expected that the company could give a proper farewell to the Hall of Famer.
