The Undertaker Set to Make History in Dallas as He Gets His Rightful Place in the WWE Hall of Fame

Let the curtains roll out and the spotlight fall on the WWE Legend, The Undertaker. WWE has announced that The Undertaker will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He will be the first inductee into the 2022 Class of the Hall of Fame, his induction taking place on April 1 in Dallas.

The Undertaker’s career has now come to a full circle. He has been a part of professional wrestling for over three decades. Mark Calaway began his wrestling career in 1984. In 1989, The Undertaker first appeared in WCW, where he wrestled as “Mean” Mark Callous. The Phenom moved into the WWE in late 1990 at Survivor Series, later becoming one of the most remarkable debut appearances of all time.

For the next 30 years, his character The Undertaker evolved steadily as he clashed with other WWE legends such as The Heart-Break Kid Shawn Michaels, Mankind Mick Foley, and Hulk Hogan. The Undertaker has won six World Tag Team Championships and seven World Championships in the WWE. Although it was never about the titles for The Deadman, his legacy came with stories and the moments he shared with Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and many others.

The Undertaker is arguably the most significant persona that the wrestling world has witnessed. The Phenom was a part of many greatest wrestling matches. Some of his most iconic battles were against Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 25, and the other took place in a Hell in Cell match with Mick Foley at the 1998 King of the Ring.

The Undertaker is best known for his WrestleMania streak 21-0. “The Beast” Brock Lesnar ended the streak in 2014 at WrestleMania 30, which shook the entire wrestling universe to its core.  

After a phenomenal three-decade-long career, Mark Calaway made his ‘Last Ride’ in the WWE. The Undertaker retired from the company in Survivor Series 2020, precisely 30 years since his debut. However, the character will always have a special place in the hearts of the WWE Universe.
