Cody Rhodes is going through some tough times ever since his return in January this year. First, he couldn’t defeat Roman Reigns and win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Second, he became the victim of Brock Lesnar‘s wrath multiple times.

And now he had to take a massive insult, courtesy of Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley. Luckily, his wife, Brandi Rhodes, stepped up for him to ensure no one would take advantage of his virtue. She even threatened to use some physical force, if needed, if anyone tries to mess with her husband.

Brandi Rhodes challenges Rhea Ripley

On the 06/05 edition of Monday Night Raw, Cody Rhodes had a heated confrontation with ‘The Young Mysterio’ and Ripley. During the segment, Ex-con Dom sneakily slapped Rhodes and quickly hid behind his Mami. Ripley, making fun of Rhodes, dared him to hit her in the face. But Rhodes, being a gentleman, couldn’t get the job done.

After seeing this, Mrs. Rhodes went to her Twitter account to warn ‘The Eradicator’. She implied that if her husband couldn’t hit a woman – which is Ripley in this case – she would be more than happy to do it for him. But how did this all happen?

‘The American Nightmare’ appeared as the special guest for The Miz TV on Raw. However, moments later, the two Judgement Day members interrupted him. After making their way to the ring, the ‘modern-day Latino Heat’ took several digs at Rhodes.

Dom-Dom mocked Rhodes for failing to accomplish his goals. He also called him a deadbeat dad, just like his father, Rey Mysterio. Rhodes reciprocated some insults and made fun of Dominik Mysterio’s prison tattoo. He further insulted Mysterio by stating that he was one of the biggest mistakes his father made.

Just as it appeared, The Judgement Day members were making their way out of the ring, and that is when ‘The Young Mysterio’ smacked Rhodes ‘face. So far we have seen that Brandi Rhodes doesn’t shy away from standing up to anyone for her husband, not even ‘The Beast Incarnate’.
