“I Think About Wrestling Everyday” – Weeks After Pat McAfee Being Unsure of His Future in WWE, the 35-Year-Old Reveals His “Massive” Plans for the Future

Pat McAfee was a football punter before he ventured into the world of wrestling. He doesn’t have a vast accomplished career in WWE with several accolades under his belt, still, he has become a top name in the industry. He has commentated on many WWE shows and live events and showcased his in-ring abilities a couple of times. But he is most famous for his battle against The Diabolical Owner of WWE, Vince McMahon at WrestleMania 38, last year.

The pro wrestler and color commentator has just begun his journey in the world of WWE and wants to achieve great heights in the company. Recently, he revealed his future plans for WWE.

Pat McAfee wants to be in the Hall of Fame someday

Every pro wrestler wants to end up receiving the most prestigious honor in the WWE. So does McAfee. In one of his latest social media posts, the American sports analyst expressed his desire to work up his way to attain the highest reward in WWE.

Stating how serious he is when it comes to pro wrestling, he said that he still has to accomplish his dream in WWE. Right now he is caught up between his work and family, but he definitely has his eyes set on one end goal and that is the WWE Hall of Fame.

“A lot of wrestling chatter about me right now.. I think about wrestling everyday.. that dream isn’t done. My business is currently rather active and exigent…+ baby on the way… timing is everything I still have MASSIVE plans for my journey to the WWE HOF someday. Believe that,” the wrestling commentator wrote in his tweet.

When can fans expect to see McAfee again in WWE?

Last year, in September, the color commentator took leave from WWE to host ESPN College Gameday. Since then, Wade Barrett took his position as SmackDown host and has been filling for him ever since. The sports analyst made a surprise return at this year’s Royal Rumble premium live event as a commentator, alongside Michael Cole and Corey Graves.

That was his last appearance in WWE. And it looks like the WWE Universe won’t be seeing him in the wrestling promotion any time soon. Barrett, in a recent interview, said that he along with Cole will handle the commentating duties on SmackDown for now, but McAfee will surely return in the near future.
