“If The Rock Was..”- Mike Tyson’s Co-Host Snubbed Dwayne Johnson For an Absurd Reason When Asked About Who Would Play Him in His Biopic

Dwayne Johnson is a popular Hollywood star with a high success rate at the box office. Many studios vie to cast him in their movies because of the global fanbase he enjoys. His successful run with many franchises continued after he starred as DC’s Black Adam in his latest movie. Given his crossover appeal, many people will be delighted if they can get the former WWE Champion to play their part in a movie. However, one NFL star recently snubbed The Great One when he talked about how will play him in a movie.

The Rock has played some amazing roles on the big screen and continues to diversify his acting skills. His ability to draw big box office numbers is also one of the reasons why studios try to rope him in for their movies. Such fandom is matched by a few actors in Hollywood right now.

In a recent video posted by NFL team Los Angeles Chargers, Sebastian Joseph Day said he would’ve liked The Rock to play his part in a movie about him but said that wasn’t possible due to one absurd reason.

Why did Sebastian Joseph snub Dwayne Johnson?

Many personalities would consider themselves lucky if Dwayne Johnson chose to play a role depicting their lives in a movie. His global appeal and social media reach mean he can make a role famous overnight worldwide. But the L. A Chargers defensive end Sebastian Joseph Day had other ideas.

On the third episode of season two of Between 2 Kegs, former NFL linebacker Shawne Merriman had a fun session with Joseph Day. The two showed off their pong skills and had some interesting questions for each other.

They talked about how Joseph Day became a co-host with boxing legend Mike Tyson for his Hotboxin’ podcast. Interestingly, Joseph Day went in to fill in as a substitute for Tyson’s podcast and then landed the role permanently. Merriman also asked Day that if there was a movie about his life would play his role and what would be the title.

He also said he would’ve liked The Rock to play his role, but snubbed him for an odd reason. Joseph said, “Who’s playing me? Let’s see. I’ll tell you this, if The Rock was darker maybe had a spray tan or something you feeling me.”

Moreover, he said, “For real though, I’ll probably have maybe like a young Horace Whitaker.” Although The Rock would have probably taken the chance to play the role of a famous NFL player, given his football history, Joseph’s comments in a light-hearted fashion may make DJ reconsider if such a role came his way.
