Vince McMahon stepped down as CEO of WWE in July this year. This came as a shock to many, despite allegations of misconduct against him. A WWE Hall of Famer believes McMahon should stay retired for the best and not return.

Stephanie McMahon replaced her father as the co-CEO of the company, along with Nick Khan.

The ex-WWE chairperson still holds over a 30% stake in the company. However, former World Tag Team Champion Booker T doesn’t think that he should return to WWE.

Booker T hopes Vince McMahon doesn’t return to WWE

Vince McMahon’s sudden departure from WWE left many fans stunned.

In his Hall of Fame show, Booker T answered a fan question asking him whether he thinks McMahon will come back to WWE.

Booker T replied, “You know what? I hope not [whether Vince McMahon should return]. I’m not saying it in a bad way or anything like that. I just wish the best for Vince McMahon and hopefully, he can enjoy the fruits of the labor”.

The former Harlem Heat member explained, “Enjoy life for a moment. Just take a seat back and enjoy like. Take a vacation. That’s something that I know Vince, throughout my time being around him, that was not on his agenda.” 

It seems like the legendary wrestler wants McMahon to relish his retirement and enjoy the free time he now has.

McMahon was involved in the day-to-day management of the company, hardly taking any time off.

After McMahon’s retirement, Triple H has taken over as the Head of Creative in WWE.

Under ‘The Game’, WWE has made subtle changes to its overall presentation and the fans have enjoyed a more refined product. Promos have been less scripted, mid-card titles have received more attention and the wrestlers seem more of an extension of themselves rather than playing a character.

The new regime has brought back several wrestlers who were let go by the previous management. In recent weeks, Karrion Kross, Johnny Gargano, and Braun Strowman have returned to WWE.

With the freshness that’s brought into WWE these days, it seems Mr. McMahon can enjoy his retirement in peace and not worry about his most coveted asset. We can safely say that the future of WWE is in good hands now.
