Even those who call themselves fitness freaks sometimes don’t want to hit the gym when it comes to leg day. The reason is very obvious. The leg exercises are considered the toughest to perform. However, The Rock is an exception. For him, every day is a leg day.

Getting a stronger lower body has been always at the top of the actor’s priority list. He achieved it by performing regular leg exercises with a higher rep range. He first revealed his secret leg workout routine during the filming of the movie Hercules.

He usually does 20 reps of leg extensions, seated leg presses, and walking lunges. In the case of hack squats, Romanian deadlifts, lying leg curls, and leg abductors, the rep number comes down to 12. Before wrapping up, he performs standing and seated calf raises of at least 25 reps per set.
