John Cena had many storied rivalries in his WWE career with the likes of Randy Orton, Edge, and Dwayne Johnson. Throughout his career, he faced opponents of various strengths and sizes and, more often than not, got the better of them. Given his impressive physical features, very few wrestlers have manhandled the Leader of Cenation inside the squared circle. Cena has also been part of some really physical matches in WWE and showed that he can go the distance with wrestlers much stronger than him. Few years ago, the 16-time world champion talked about toughest match in the WWE.

In an interview with SiriusXM’s The Today Show Radio, the 16-time world champion answered questions from kids about his WWE career. The session gave an insight to Cena’s time in the WWE; while he also mentioned that Brock Lesnar was the toughest opponent he had faced.

The Doctor of Thuganomics said, “If you know Brock Lesnar, he’s big, he’s bad and he’s mean. And he was easily my toughest match. Now I’ve had some moments where I’ve done OK against him and I’ve had some moments where I have not done OK against him.”

The Peacemaker actor then said that being in the ring with The Beast Incarnate makes you nervous. He added, “The greatest thing about having a match of Brock Lesnar is you’re always nervous and you’re always afraid.
