“You’re the one I want to Beat”- Drew McIntyre calls out a Former WWE Champion
Superstars have challenged him and failed. Standing tall over a pile of defeated challengers is “The Scottish Psychopath” Drew McIntyre, the WWE Champion. McIntyre has never been one to turn down a challenge, and it seems like he’s ready for one of the biggest ones of his career.
In a recent interview with SunSport, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre stated that he would be willing to participate in a dream match against John Cena that would be one of the biggest cards to be pulled.

Drew McIntyre is completely booked out with his feud against Randy Orton for the championship at SummerSlam. However, he is willing to face Cena anytime after that.
“I would say ‘You’re the one I want to beat’. I want that name on my list,” says McIntyre. “It’d be a heck of a match.”
John Cena hasn’t been seen in action in WWE ever since his decisive loss to Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania. There are no plans for his return as of now.
The veteran Superstar is on a hiatus to focus on his budding career in Hollywood, where he plans to be for a while. This was probably the best decision on his part since there were few alleyways open for his character, not to mention the extremely unresponsive audience.
Drew McIntyre could fight John Cena over a huge storyline
The crowd needed a break from Cena, and the long time out could help a lot. The match against Drew McIntyre would only be perfect for Cena to return.

The reason I say this is because John Cena is tied with WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair for the record of most Championship wins. That tally now stands at 16.
Many fans expect Cena to return to break that record soon. He could do it. If things play out the way we want them to, Randy Orton closes the gap and gets his tally to 16 as well.

The perfect way to settle the feud would be a triple threat match between Randy Orton, John Cena, and the WWE Champion to decide who breaks the record. If McIntyre can only hold on to his title until then, it would be a dream.
Till then we can only wait to see SummerSlam with a highly anticipated match between Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton. Anything could happen. The fans may be on Drew’s side, but Randy Orton is on Randy Orton’s side.
