John Cena Smartly Addresses Peacemaker and Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam Crossing Paths in the DCEU: “With Possibilities in the Sort of Universe..”

Watching John Cena and The Rock work together remains one of the cherished memories for every pro-wrestling fan. However, while they’ve practically blown the roof off WWE arenas, they’re yet to do the same for Hollywood.

Recently, People caught up with The Champ and asked if The Rock would work with Cena in The Peacemaker series in the future.

Now, let’s be clear that even if Cena knew something about this, he’s probably not allowed to disclose it. Therefore, he cleverly avoided revealing anything he could know and praised The Rock.

“I’ll say the same thing every time with possibilities in the sort of universe… it would be an honor and a privilege to be able to perform with him. I think there still is a passionate marketplace that wants to see him in. But I’m sorry, man, that’s just not my choice so I don’t know. It’s so far beyond me. It’s beyond what I’m able to control.” H/t People

The Peacemaker series was released recently. It was an instant hit among the fans, and even crossed ratings compared to other famous series on various streaming platforms.

John Cena and The Rock are yet to come back to WWE

It’s been a while since either of them were on WWE TV. However, John Cena was working with WWE from Money in the Bank 2021 to SummerSlam 2021.

Since then, he’s taken a break and gone back to his Hollywood schedule.

On the other hand, The Rock hasn’t been around WWE in quite a while. Therefore, the fans have been wanting for him to come back to the squared circle more than John Cena.

Unfortunately, both of them seem to have hectic Hollywood schedules at the time. It doesn’t seem like either of them can pause their schedules and come back to WWE anytime soon.

Currently, the megastar who is working with WWE is Brock Lesnar. Till the time he’s active, WWE may not bring in other megastars. The idea is to ensure the megastar returns are timed well enough to boost ratings when most needed.
