The name of the movie hasn’t been finalized yet. But it will be an action thriller with a storyline that revolves around a real-life Sherlock Holmes character named Kate Warne. She was a trailblazer as the Pinkerton agency’s first female detective. She opened doors for future women in law enforcement and revolutionized detective work.

Blunt will be the protagonist of the movie. So what character will Dwayne Johnson play?

As per the report, Johnson will not play the role of an actor in this movie. In fact, he will be a producer alongside Hiram Garcia and Dany Garcia. Kimberly Bialek will oversee Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions. Other producers for the movie include Kristina Sorensen from With a K Productions.

Blunt is also taking up the role of producer for her Ledburry Productions. The deal hasn’t been finalized yet due to the ongoing strike in Hollywood. But chances are looking good after the strike ceases. The script for the movie is written by Melissa Stack, who took the first draft from Gustin Nash.

Stack is also known for her works, Godmothered for Disney, Family Vacation, The Other Woman for 20th Century Fox, etc. The fans have been dying to see Johnson and Blunt on the big screen together. Their chemistry in the 2021 Jungle Cruise movie was commendable.

It is very exciting news that the two stars will work together but still a little disappointing that they won’t share the silver screen like before. Nevertheless, fans can only be hopeful Johnson will join his former c0-star on the big screen soon.
