It’s been years since The Rock last fought in a WWE match. The 10-time world champion is retired from the WWE universe. But there are growing rumors on social media about his return to the WWE for an enthralling storyline. And from media houses to the Superstars of WWE, everybody wants to see that.

On 17 August, Dwayne Johnson went live on Instagram with the former head writer of WWE Brian Gewirtz, joined by Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins. Brian Gewirtz was having a friendly conversation with the couple until the Rock joined the live session to amp things up.

During their 20-minute-long conversation, the superstars shared lots of stories about the old days of WWE. One of those stories escalated quickly and made news on social media. And now fans want The Great One to return to WWE more than ever.

Johnson said while sharing a story about The Shield, “You know what was really cool? When The Shield attacked me before WrestleMania, and then Power bombed me. And I remember Seth. I was on Roman’s shoulders, and Seth in particular threw me down so hard on that mat. Busted my blood vessels, and blood started coming out of my mouth. And he looked down. Roman looked down and was like, ‘You okay, Uso?’ called me brother in Samoan. And before I could answer, Seth was like, ‘Who gives a s**t,’ and he walked away.” 

Seth Rollins challenges The Rock

Things took a turn when the USA Network tweeted asking The Rock and Rollins to settle their feud in WrestleMania. It didn’t take long for Rollins to respond to the idea of a match. Rollins retweeted, “If he wants to have the greatest match of his life, my dance card is open.” Rollins is ready to have the electrifying moment of his life, but DJ’s chances of returning to the ring are not confirmed at this point.
