While The Great One left the ring empty-handed on Night 2, a seething anger brewed under the cover. After reminding Rhodes of his clean defeat at the hands of The Rock during a stellar Raw after WrestleMania, the 51-year-old addressed his unresolved business with The Undertaker, with a huge jibe.

The Holywood A-lister posted a picture of him and The Undertaker from WrestleMania Night 2 and wrote, ‘‘The guy sure knows how to ruin a party. I’ll see you down the road, my friend. Paybacks a bitch for you – but fun for me.”

The Rock’s return after 11 years earned the company a lot more eyeballs than usual at this year’s Grandest Stage of Them All. Dwayne Johnson underwent an abrupt heel turn and smashed Cody Rhodes’ and Seth Rollins’ unified force at WrestleMania 40 Night One, alongside his Samoan cousin. While this victory gave him an edge over Rhodes at Night 2, John Cena, The Undertaker, and Seth Rollins flocked into the ring to upset the apple’s cart.

And it seems no one can get rid of The Rock’s wrath. With Cody Rhodes’ and The Undertaker already on the list, John Cena emerges as the next name to strike down for The Brahma Bull.
