While the idea of another grudge fight between Cody Rhodes and The Rock making the rounds already, another feud against The Phenom seems to loom large. At least, that’s what the latest social media exchanges between the two Attitude Era legends alluded to.

The DeadMan appeared in the closing hour of WrestleMania 40 main event and choke slammed The Rock to help Cody Rhodes get away with the victory. While The Great One left the ring empty-handed on Night 2, a seething anger brewed under the cover. After reminding Rhodes of his clean defeat at the hands of The Rock during a stellar Raw after WrestleMania, the 51-year-old addressed his unresolved business with The Undertaker, with a huge jibe.

The Holywood A-lister posted a picture of him and The Undertaker from WrestleMania Night 2 and wrote, ‘‘The guy sure knows how to ruin a party. I’ll see you down the road, my friend. Paybacks a bitch for you – but fun for me.”

With these two trading barbs, wrestling fans can already envision The Rock vs The Undertaker taking place at next year’s WrestleMania or even earlier. Nevertheless, it’s not the only high-profile fight involving The Final Boss that’s cooking.
The Rock teases to rekindle a fiery rivalry with John Cena after WrestleMania scuffle
The Rock’s return after 11 years earned the company a lot more eyeballs than usual at this year’s Grandest Stage of Them All. Dwayne Johnson underwent an abrupt heel turn and smashed Cody Rhodes’ and Seth Rollins’ unified force at WrestleMania 40 Night One, alongside his Samoan cousin. While this victory gave him an edge over Rhodes at Night 2, John Cena, The Undertaker, and Seth Rollins flocked into the ring to upset the apple’s cart.

And it seems no one can get rid of The Rock’s wrath. With Cody Rhodes’ and The Undertaker already on the list, John Cena emerges as the next name to strike down for The Brahma Bull.
The Rock didn’t even hesitate to throw shades at him on social media. Shortly after, Cena stood by The American Nightmare in Philadelphia. The Great One took to his social media to remind him, ‘ The Rock can always see you, boy’.
