In actuality, there were plenty of twists and turns in their story. After they initiated a rebellion with their cousin, both indulged in a feud with him and Solo Sikoa. They further went on to win a tag team contest against their former stablemates in London. When it appeared that the brothers were on the same page, Jimmy betrayed Jey at SummerSlam this year, just as he was about to win the WWE Undisputed Championship match against Roman Reigns.

Since then, the beef between the brothers has been simmering slowly and gradually. Also, the storyline between both has been under intense scrutiny by the fans. Considering the same, this contest could spark a lot of attention and become a big money match for WWE. Also, the WWE intends to serve colossal encounters to the Saudis, and this contest ticks all the boxes to be a grand spectacle.

WWE treats Crown Jewel as a WrestleMania tier event

WWE always intends to make a Saudi event an extravaganza for the crowd. Bringing numerous legends like The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, Triple H, and whatnot, the Stamford-based promotion, whenever it organizes an event, tries to keep that as grand as it can get. In fact, this year’s event won’t be much different from the previous one. At this juncture, WWE has locked in a plethora of captivating title matches, with a few more yet to get official.

With so much surrounding the event, it was also reported recently that WWE intends to treat the upcoming PLE as WrestleMania. Given this astounding report, this might be the right time for the WWE to fix a clash between Jimmy and Jey for Crown Jewel. Although the match is speculated by many for WrestleMania XL, it should be noted that the feud might run out of steam until we reach the ‘Mania season, thus the promotion could organize the contest at Mohammed Abdu Arena.

Jimmy vs Jey has been hyped by the WWE since Summerslam

The intrigue has been increasing in the storyline of the twins since day one. Ever since Jimmy turned his back on Jey, fans have been speculating about something that never happened on TV, i.e., a singles contest between the Usos.

Now, it seems that WWE itself wants this battle to take place, and is hyping up the feud.

Well, the obvious clue for that is the wicked deeds of Jimmy Uso, which cost Jey a title opportunity at SummerSlam and then a title defense at Monday Night Raw last week. Furthermore, this raised tension between the brothers, as Jey intended to take revenge in the last episode of SmackDown. Actually, his unexpected appearance on the blue brand aided John Cena, who was about to fall prey to Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. Jey then took his brother out at the ringside, which was well received by the crowd.
