Since returning to WWE in early 2023, Vince McMahon made sure he has the company’s reigns in his hands. Even though Paul Levesque holds the title of Chief Content Officer, it’s McMahon who makes a lot of creative decisions. Pertaining to his health conditions, he mainly works remotely. Still, these changes are miles away from being subtle. A recently released star shared the first-hand experience of the same. He talks about how almost everyone expressed shock when McMahon made a drastic last-minute change to the RAW episode, which was supposed to air after WrestleMania 39.

McMahon’s ‘agile’ methodology

Many stars witnessed these last-minute changes made by McMahon firsthand. One such star is Mansoor from the Maximum Male Models. Recently on a Twitch stream with his fellow tag team partner Brennan aka Mace, they decided to shed some light on a similar incident. The incident dates back to early 2023. This emerged as the time when McMahon had just returned to WWE following a hiatus. Fans just witnessed the spectacle of WrestleMania 39 and were gearing up for RAW. Fans wanted to see the aftermath of WrestleMania. But McMahon made such a drastic change that, according to Mansoor, it didn’t make any sense.

He said, “Raw after Mania. The card is up, show is rehearsed. Hunter [Triple H] has been running the show for a while. Mania was a huge success. We weren’t on it because we were told we were being taken off TV right before. We’re sitting backstage and in catering with Omos. He’s got some disgusting slop on his plate. He gets a call, answers the phone, gets up, and runs out ”. It was later revealed that the phone call was from the management informing Omos that he had to perform at RAW in the next hour.

Due to this, he had to rush to the hotel where he left his gear, as he didn’t have it with him. He concluded by saying, “Vince came through and just changed the whole show an hour before. Suddenly, the first match after WrestleMania was Omos squashing Elias, for no reason.” He implied the fact that this change did not make any sense.

McMahon has garnered a reputation for his last-minute changes. In this case, Omos only got the call an hour before the show aired. But not many fans know that for the same show, WWE made changes even 15-20 minutes before the show went on air.

WWE’s creative uncertainty highlighted for Raw after WrestleMania 39

According to reports, rewrites were underway before the show went on air. One of the major events that fans were going to witness was a new contender for the RAW Women’s Championship title. WWE originally planned 2 triple threat matches for the event. In this, they planned to pit Liv Morgan against Dakota Kai and Piper Niven, while Candice LeRae would take on Raquel Rodriguez and IYO SKY. The winners would then challenge each other for the right to face Bianca Belair for title glory.

But reportedly, it did not pan out and instead, WWE scheduled a tag-team match. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez faced off against IYO SKY and Dakota Kai in a tag team match. The winners would earn a chance to go up against Becky Lynch and Lita for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship titles. Fans are very well aware of the last-minute changes McMahon makes. But according to the fans, these are getting a lot better as it was him behind Nia Jax’s return.
