Rhea Ripley Relinquishes World Title, Cody Rhodes Addresses Tama Tonga Debut & More: WWE RAW 4/15 Results, Recap & Highlights

Live from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, this episode of WWE RAW was packed with twists and turns. Jey Uso took on Finn Balor, Cody Rhodes addressed the fans, Rhea Ripley talked about her surprise attack by Liv Morgan, Sheamus returned to the WWE, and much more. There was also the build-up for WWE Backlash. Here are the results of WWE Monday Night RAW.

WWE RAW 15/04/2024 Results

In-ring promo – Rhea Ripley opened the show to address her attack by Liv Morgan. She announced that she’s been benched since the attack and will have to vacate the WWE Women’s World Championship. Ripley handed over her title and declared that she would be returning for the blood of whoever held her title. Liv Morgan came out with security trying to hold her back. The segment ended with Ripley taking out one of the guards with a headbutt.

Backstage segment – Rhea Ripley is seen with The Judgment Day who claims that when she returns she’ll be better than ever.

Winner: Sheamus

The Celtic Warrior made a return to the WWE after eight months of being out. Taking on the Viking Ivar, Sheamus looked as good as ever. Despite being the bigger man, Sheamus was able to overcome the odds and beat the Viking.

In-ring segment – Triple H and Adam Pearce came out to unveil the new WWE Tag Team title. Calling out the WWE RAW tag team winner, The Miz and R-Turth, the duo revealed the new title design. After some funny banter from Truth, Hunter handed them the new titles. This was followed by a Number One Contender’s Match for the title.

Winner: DIY

All three teams were ready to lay it down for a chance to face Awesome Truth for the title. Gargano and Ciampa and Woods and Kingston tried their best to keep The Creed brothers down, but it wasn’t enough. However, while Woods was trying to pin Julius, he was hit by Meet in the Middle by DIY. This resulted in DIY winning the match and will go on to challenge Awesome Truth for the titles.

Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae vs. Maxxine Dupri and Ivy Nile

Winners: Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae

The feud between these four women continued tonight. After winning against LeRea and Hartwell, Dupri and Nile were looking for another win. However, Hartwell took advantage of the referee not looking and hit Dupri with a big boot. LeRea was placed over her for the win leading to the win.

Backstage segment – Damian Priest told the members of Judgment Day that they needed to show everyone they still owned the place as everyone had a match tonight.

Dominik Mysterio vs. Andrade

Winner: Andrade

In an attempt to prove their worth Dirty Dom took on Andrade. Despite seeming to have the upper hand, Andrade was able to put Dom Dom down. Using his father’s moves, he was able to get the upper hand but The Message from Andrade and the match was over.

Post-match – JD McDonagh attacked Andrade only for Ricochet to make the save.

Piper Niven and Chelsea Green vs. Kitana Chance and Kayden Carter

Winner: Piper Niven and Chelsea Green

The match started with a strength match between Chance and Niven. The match was short with Niven getting the pin on Carter.

Backstage segment – Liv Morgan claimed that her revenge tour just started.

In-ring segment: Cody Rhodes took to the ring to address what Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson said on social media. He spoke about The Bloodline growing and called out Jey Uso. Rhodes claimed that The Bloodline was in the building and he would like to have Jey’s back as he did during Mania.

Jey Uso vs. Finn Balor

Winner: Jey Uso

Balor attacked Uso before the bell even rang. Balor staying in control of the match laid a brutal beatdown on the Main Event star. Despite doing everything he could, Jey was not stopping. While avoiding Balor, Jey was able to hit the Superkick. A Spear and the Uso Splash later and Jey had the match won.

Post-match – Damian Priest showed up to the ring. Jey will be facing Priest for the title at Backlash. While distracted, the Judgment Day attacked from the back. Beating down Jey, they pushed him out of the ring. However, this allowed him to take the whole team out. Walking out of the arena he met up with Sami Zayn.

Backstage segment – Zayn talked about watching his first match at the same arena. Tonight on WWE RAW he would be walking into the building as a Champion. Zayn made his way from the back while meeting all his fans for his main event match.

Main Event: Sami Zayn vs. Chad Gable for the Intercontinental Championship

Winner: Sami Zayn retained the title

Before the match started Gable faced Bronson Reed who claimed the winner of the match would face him. The match started with the crowd on Zayn’s side. Both men were equally matched and began slowly, understanding each other. Gable looked to have control by focusing on Zayn’s injured leg. Counter after counter the ending was a brilliant display of technical wrestling. Despite his efforts, Zayn picked up the win in his hometown.

Post-match: Gable attacked Zayn despite raising his arm to win the match.
