The superstar then went on to feud with legends and Hall of Famers, including the likes of John Cena, Randy Orton, and Roman Reigns, to name a few. To this day, he is among the very few who have pinned Roman Reigns multiple times, proving why he was a major asset for WWE.

Admiring his work and also being a wrestler at heart, DJ has come out to share his thoughts and feelings about Wyatt in a throat-numbing post. Addressing his connection and presence with the WWE Universe, Johnson praised his rare character work in what is a heartbreaking time for The Rock.

You can check out the tweet below:

Not many know, but there is a rich history between Johnson and Wyatt. At the historic WrestleMania 32 event, The Rock made a gigantic announcement concerning the attendance figures. WrestleMania 32 broke all records by registering a whopping attendance of 101,000 people. The promo was cut short as The Wyatt Family, also comprising the late Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, interrupted DJ. Wyatt and Johnson, renowned for their exceptional mic skills, had an amazing segment that translated to The Rock facing Eric Rowan in a singles match. WWE created again history as the 50-year-old beat Rowan in 6 seconds.

To top it off, John Cena later joined the party as the two stalwarts made The Wyatt Family retreat with their finishers. While the outcome wasn’t in favor of the 3-time world champion, it still was a wonderful sight to see Cena, Johnson, and Wyatt in the same ring.

With an emotional Johnson echoing his thoughts on social media, fans have chipped in with their messages and love for the evergreen superstar.

“End of an Era” Fans can’t come to terms with their hero leaving them

Not many know, but Wyatt has always had an amazing connection with his fans. In 2016, other children bullied a young kid with Asperger’s syndrome in school. However, the child found his inspiration in the 36-year-old as he always considered his arc and faction to be different in WWE. Reacting to the fan, the Eater of Worlds, assured by saying: “Life is our greatest gift. Keep your head up. You are never alone.” These things make it harder for fans to come to terms with his departure.

Some fans empathized with DJ for his emotional outburst and pain as the former wrestler is going through a hard time coming to terms with the demise of two wrestlers in quick succession.

Some fans shared posts featuring Wyatt and John Cena. Speaking of Cena and Wyatt, the two have had the most bizarre rivalry in the past themselves. In a fascinating tale, critics once awarded the two the “Worst Worked Match” for their extreme rules bout in 2014. But on the flip side, they also received the “Best Match of the Year” accolade for their epic Last Man Standing match at Payback.

The outpouring of emotions and messages continued to pour. The 36-year-old was one of the greatest talkers in the history of WWE. His character work of both Wyatt and The Fiend in particular received unanimous love from all quarters.
