Roman Reigns Challenges The NXT Double Champion to a Super Showdown

NXT: The Great American Bash night two was certainly historic. The main event would go on to change the landscape of the Black and Gold brand. In the explosive main event, Keith Lee ended the iconic reign of Adam Cole.
Along with a barrage of wishes and praise on social media, the new double champion received praise from one man who knows a lot about winning championships.
A month before the event, NXT’s three highly-rated talents faced each other to become the number one contender for Adam Cole’s NXT Championship.

Keith Lee defeated Johnny Gargano and Finn Balor, and now had a shot at Adam Cole in a winner takes all battle.
In the buildup to this match, WWE superstars and legends gave their predictions.
Even though Keith Lee had strong support, the majority went with Adam Cole.
A few days before the match, Keith Lee lost his coach.
The NXT champ was very close to his coach as the latter had always told him that he would be a big star.
The match itself got very close in the end.
After Cole hit his signature maneuver, Lee looked like he was done. However, instead of pinning Lee, Cole went to the top rope for a Panama Sunrise.
It certainly misfired as the North American Champ turned the maneuver into a Spirit Bomb and then hit a Big Bang Catastrophe to defeat Cole.

Post Lee’s historic victory, there were fireworks and party material all over the ring.
While all were involved in the celebration, one Karrion Kross was eyeing his next target. With Adam Cole entitled to a rematch, it will be interesting where the story goes.
As it stands, the story can have three scenarios going forward. First, Adam Cole gets his rematch for the NXT title and Karrion Kross challenges for the North American title.

Secondly, Karrion Kross challenges for the NXT title and Adam Cole is completely out of the picture. The third possibility can be that Kross challenges for the NXT title and Gargano or Balor come into the North American title picture
