Recently, former WWE writer Brian Gewirtz appeared on the Cheap Heat podcast recently. He gave his opinion on whether Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will ever have one more match in WWE or not.
Gewirtz said, “All I can say is this is his last match was with Erick Rowan in the impromptu match at WrestleMania with the Wyatt Family. I don’t know if that’s necessarily the big bow at the end of the career. There’s been a worse finale they had, than setting a WrestleMania time record in front of like how many thousand upon thousand people in the world watching it. I think, ultimately that’s up to The Rock, what he wants to do with that.”
He added, “Again the fan in me will love to see the huge attraction, which technically speaking you can say you already did in terms of passing the torch to John Cena. Even though John has been well established, you know that’s the phrase. If Hogan passed the torch, even though Rock has been wrestling on top for few years.”
The WWE Universe is waiting for The Rock to make his massive comeback to the WWE. Especially, with Roman Reigns being the top guy, fans want WWE to book a dream match between The Tribal Chief and The Brahma Bull.
