Special Reason Behind Rhea Ripley’s Absence From Monday Night Raw Revealed

WWE Raw was action-packed this past week. While The Judgment Day continued to stay the centerpiece, fans have been missing the presence of the glue that holds the faction together, none other than Rhea Ripley. Though she has been out for 2 weeks due to the assault by Nia Jax, it’s still a massive void for anyone to fill.

But if anything is to go by her latest Instagram story, fans might be able to decode as to why she missed out on the latest edition of Raw.

The reason why Rhea Ripley missed Raw

Judgement Day has usually caused carnage on Raw. However, it was a mixed night for them on the latest edition of WWE’s flagship show.

Cody Rhodes, and Jey Uso, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn outnumbered them in the opening segment. Though they won their individual matches in the form of Dominik Mysterio retaining his title over Dragon Lee and Finn Balor and Damian Priest regaining their titles, the ending moments once again saw them getting pummeled by the babyfaces.

Amidst all the chaos, fans online have tried assembling why Ripley missed out on Raw. And by the looks of it, it’s celebrating her fiance, Buddy Murphy’s birthday.

On her Instagram story, captioned Happy Birthday I Love YOU, she posted a picture of Murphy, hinting she wanted to celebrate the special moment with him. While it’s a special occasion for Ripley, it does ache for her fans who haven’t seen her for 2 weeks.

The long 2-week absence of the champion

Mami and her long-time rival Raquel Rodriguez finally squared off for the women’s championship in the main event of Raw two weeks ago.

Unfortunately for the 26-year-old, Nia Jax made her surprise return after months to lay out Ripley with a vicious leg drop on the apron, injuring the champ and putting her out of commission.

To make things worse, Jax has been dominating the show since then. She picked up a victory over Zoey Stark on the latest edition of Raw. But with vendetta on her mind, Ripley is bound to come back strong soon enough.
