Dwayne Johnson has garnered a reputation for his trash-talking skills in WWE. The witty one-liners and the amazing wordplay The Rock has presented to the WWE Universe have immensely contributed to his popularity. However, the biggest quality that he has shown as a trash-talker is his ability to stay calm and counterattack.

However, it seems that Johnson has lost his touch in this department. The last time something got under the skin of The Rock was when a journalist misreported his monetary help to Maui. While that topic was close to home, it seems a Cody Rhodes fan has made the Hollywood star get angry once again.

Dwayne Johnson has been very clever and entertaining about the fan response he has been getting after his super heel turn. When in Salt Lake City, he candidly said that the crowd didn’t have the right to speak his catchphrases along with him. In another instance, he asked the booing crowd if it really wanted to boo him. Promoting his next appearance, he released a video on X. But, a Cody Rhodes fan replied to it with a short video clip of Rhodes saying, “Little D**k.” The fan also wrote, “CODY COOKED U.” This made Dwayne Johnson lose his cool and he wrote, “He sure did. Stfu u goof.” This reaction has set the WWE Universe ablaze.

Dwayne Johnson refers to fans of The American Nightmare as Cody Crybabies. However, it seems that a crybaby has managed to rile up The Rock. This is highly unusual since Johnson has remained unphased in the face of several great WWE Superstars like Triple H, Steve Austin, John Cena, etc.

A hate comment during the twilight of his career shouldn’t have phased him so much but it did. In fact, Johnson didn’t even react this way when Cody Rhodes slapped him in front of millions of viewers.

Dwayne Johnson had slapped Cody Rhodes for trash-talking about his esteemed Samoan pro wrestling family during the WrestleMania kick-off event. This debt was later paid back by Rhodes who slapped him back for dissing his brother and calling Cody his dad Dusty’s mistake. Instead of backing away or lashing out, The Rock went to the city of Dallas to curse the ‘Pharaoh’ even more.

While Dwayne Johnson lost his cool, it should be noted that the fan is the one in the wrong here. People in the entertainment industry have a very hard time dealing with hate and negativity.

In the era of social media, this hate is home-delivered directly on their phones. Thus, it is only natural that even The Rock will reach a breaking point after a limit. What are your thoughts on this? Let them flow in the comments.
