He added, “On the night of Mania I gave him some advice which is also surreal. He hasn’t done this for 20 years and I could see… Even though he’s a very confident, intense guy – the way the character is, that’s the way he is in real life – but no, I mostly just reminded him to breath.”
Even though Austin was excited for his first match after a long time, he was nervous. Austin has said multiple times that a new generation of fans would not cheer his wrestling style and so he hadn’t thought of a return in a long time. This reason might have The Rattlesnake nervous before going to the ring.
McIntyre told Austin to stay calm and just breathe. He said this to Austin because the adrenaline is very much high. The crowd is so loud you forget to breathe and you get blown up. This advice surely helped the Rattlesnake as he gave fans a stunning match to cherish forever.

This year on 3rd September, WWE is going to have a stadium event in the United Kingdom. Drew McIntyre shared that with this event coming up at Cardiff, UK, he wishes WWE could bring back the European Title.
McIntyre said, “Yes! I just want it. Because when I was a kid and I saw it I was like ‘ah man, I want to be European champion’ and now I can’t because it doesn’t exist right now. I don’t like too many titles and there are a lot right now, but I just wanted it when I was a kid. So just bring it back, let me win it and then I’ll retire it.”
