As expected, Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns was indeed the highlight of SummerSlam. Both men brought the best out of each other in the ring and also outside the ring. The ringside became a mess as the mega stars of WWE wrestled for the top price, i.e. Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

However, as everyone knew, the Mr. Money in the Bank 2022 winner Theory attempted a cash-in during the match. He came out with a referee when Lesnar and Reigns were down outside the ring as ‘The Beast Incarnate’ destroyed the ring with his tractor.

Brock Lesnar saves Theory from humiliation at SummerSlam

The 48,000+ WWE fans in the arena were looking forward for Theory’s music to play. Vince McMahon‘s protégé announced right after WWE decided on this match, that he will attempt to cash in for the top prize at SummerSlam. However, we can easily say that Brock Lesnar connecting an F5 to Theory saved his Money in the Bank contract for the future.

Theory had little chance against Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar, even though he cashed in. If he would’ve lost the match after his cash-in, it would have been the biggest humiliation of the Summer for the former youngest US Champion.

Even though Mr. McMahon’s favorite was aiming at taking the top price home tonight, it seems he has to wait. Moreover, he should thank The Beast Incarnate for saving his Money in the Bank contract.

Lesnar gets his revenge against his former advocate

Even though Brock Lesnar lost his match against Roman Reigns, he was able to take his long-awaited revenge against Paul Heyman. The former advocate tried to stop Lesnar while The Tribal Chief was down after a beat-down by The Beast.

However, it was a wrong call for Heyman tonight as Lesnar connected an F5 on Reigns’ Special Counsel. Paul Heyman landed on the announcer’s table after Lesnar hit an F5 on him.

Paul Heyman sided with Lesnar since the beginning of his career. However, in 2020 Heyman became The Head of the Table’s Special Counsel. He became Lesnar’s advocate for a month but betrayed him at Royal Rumble in his match against Bobby Lashley.

Surprisingly, this was the second time Paul Heyman betrayed Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. The last time he did this was at Survivor Series 2002 when Heyman helped Big Show to defeat Lesnar for the Undisputed WWE Title.
