Even though it’s been almost a couple of weeks since WrestleMania 39, people still have the action that ensued fresh in their minds. From hardcore wrestling enthusiasts to casual fans, all had a take on the main event of the night. The match between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes brought out a wide variety of reactions. Most fans were left with a bitter taste after ‘Tribal Chief’ successfully defended the top prize in WWE, yet again. Moreover, some felt that ‘The American Nightmare’ was the perfect candidate to end Reigns’ 900+ days unbeaten streak in WWE.

Recently, WWE veteran Jeff Jarrett offered his two cents on the hot topic.

In a recent episode of ‘My World with Jeff Jarrett’ podcast, the wrestling promoter shared how the company might look back and regret their decision of keeping Roman Reigns on the throne as champion. Jarrett stated, “You talk about the layer upon layer upon layer, the Screwjob of all Screwjobs,” while describing the ultimate match of the big night.

Moreover, the 55-year-old felt that Rhodes’ victory wouldn’t take anything away from the Bloodlines’ storyline or the long-build up.

Jarrett said, “My gut still told me it would have been the right move. I don’t think it would have hurt Roman, I don’t think it would have hurt The Bloodline.”

and added “I don’t think, if we wait a year, I don’t think, because we waited a year, there’s gonna be that many more eyeballs…

Therefore, Jarrett analyzed the show through the lens of a wrestling promoter and offered his criticism.

The former professional wrestler has experience in being a wrestling promoter. Since Jeff Jarrett was one of the co-founders of TNA (Impact Wrestling), back in 2002. Despite the criticism, the WWE legend enjoyed the showing put on by some of the finest athletes in the company, and claimed “hell of a match, a hell of a finish”.

The main event of Mania’ certainly didn’t disappoint, in terms of the raw talent on display, with Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Solo Sikoa playing memorable roles.
