Cody Rhodes is undoubtedly enjoying the best phase of his WWE career. He is finally set to achieve his long-lost dream of headlining WrestleMania. And heading into the Showcase of Immortals, Rhodes appears to be having a lot of fun. He was recently involved in a reunion with former faction members.

‘The American Nightmare’ is a mere five weeks away from facing arguably his biggest test. His much-awaited clash with Roman Reigns has the fans waiting with bated breath. There is still some time left for the clash. The second-generation wrestler recently appeared in a live event in which he called back an iconic group of his.

Rhodes made the fans nostalgic by heavily implying the past existence of the iconic faction ‘Bullet Club’. He shared the ring along with the previous members of the faction, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. The latter was one of the founding members of the former NJPW group. Rhodes also joined the club after his 2016 exit from the WWE. Such was the popularity of the club that it was sometimes termed as ‘Modern nWo’.

Fans think it could be a great plan to tackle the notorious Bloodline!

The Good Brothers ran in to thwart a beatdown attempt from Judgement Day’s Dominik Mysterio and Damien Priest on Rhodes. Ironically, he had just beaten the founder of the Bullet Club, Finn Balor. The now WWE star was known as Prince Devitt in his NJPW days. Rhodes also announced through his Twitter account that he will be teaming up with the OCs in upcoming WWE live events.

Bullet Club acknowledged in WWE programming

The popular faction got officially mentioned fully in the WWE programming last year. During the Crown Jewel PLE, the announcer Michael Cole addressed the Bullet Club by its proper name. It had been mentioned as only The Club before that. The new regime under Triple H was praised all around for opening the forbidden door. A feat that would surely not have been possible with Vince McMahon at the helm.

Coming back to Rhodes, he is yet to come face to face with ‘The Tribal Chief’. Instead, he has had spectacular segments with Paul Heyman. The ‘Wise Man’ has acted as a more than capable mouthpiece for the undisputed WWE Universal champion.
