Recently, a clip surfaced on social media of one such ridiculous custom WWE match in a game. It featured popular Argentine soccer player Lionel Messi and the Mexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa grappling it out!

Fans of WWE games have often created custom wrestlers and matches to get their fill of entertainment out of these games. Customised arenas, title belts and even characters are part of the WWE gaming community.

Most of the times it features wrestlers in fantasy or dream matches that fans crave to see in real life. You would find these gamers streaming a Hulk Hogan-John Cena match or have Dwayne Johnson go up against Randy Savage.

But away from this, some gamers like to have more over-the-top fun and create some hilarious moments from these games. And recently with FIFA World Cup fever gripping the world, a video clip surfaced on the Twitter in which Mexican goalkeeping hero Ochoa is battling it out with soccer legend Lionel Messi in a WWE game mode.

In the video from a WWE game, a custom made Ochoa and Messi are fighting at ringside. And unlike their clash on the field a few days earlier, Ocha gets the better of his rival. In the clip, Ochoa proceeds to hit a DDT on Messi on the announcer’s desk.

A couple of days before this video went online, Messi and Ochoa went head to head in the FIFA World Cup. The Argentine talisman even scored a wonderful goal past Ochoa as Argentina beat Mexico to keep their hopes of a third World Cup title alive.

Ochoa enjoys hero status in Mexico, having been part of five World Cup campaigns and putting on incredible performances. But hardly anyone expected to see him wrestle Messi in a WWE game mode.

At times, even the most absurd WWE fantasy booking or game mode has a possibility of being replicated in the ring. But it appears unlikely that we will see soccer icons Lionel Messi and Guillermo Ochoa enter the squared circle anytime soon.
