And this has led to the final showdown between The Judgment Day and Cody Rhodes and Co at Survivor Series. Both sides, particularly Rhodes, have been involved in a heated exchange of words for months now. And as a result, an innocent JD McDonagh got caught in the firing line.

This led to a 3 on 3 match which Rhodes and gang comfortably won. But the feud didn’t end there. Post that the war of words continued and in one such interview, Rhodes was aggressively criticizing The Judgment Day. And during the course of that backstage interview, Rhodes took a dig at JD McDonagh who at that time was trying desperately to join the group.

McDonagh was doing every possible thing to show his loyalty to Mami and the faction. That caught the attention of Rhodes who went on to joke about McDonagh. He said, “What the hell is wrong with JD McDonagh, head so big on that body, he is looking like a Funko Pop”. On hearing this the crowd immediately burst out laughing. But in addition to making jokes about McDonagh, Rhodes also has a huge amount of respect for him.

He said, “He’s been one of the most impressive call ups I feel from NXT, and I really wasn’t expecting it. I didn’t have low expectations, I didn’t have high expectations. But that’s potentially a big-time player moving forward. Again, I could care less about him personally. His head’s giant. I mentioned the Funko pop thing. No doubt, it’s far beyond the size of his body. But probably gonna be a big-time player for WWE at some point”.
