The Samoans have a major influence on the professional wrestling industry. Over the years, the great Anoa’i family has given great wrestling stars. To name a few greats are High Chief Peter Maivia, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Wild Samoans, etc. Moreover, the Anoa’i family legacy is taken forward by Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Solo Sikoa.
Recently, on the latest episode of IMPAULSIVE, Logan Paul wasn’t able to pronounce the names of Samoan wrestlers. Moreover, Roman Reigns, the guest on the show, helped him pronounce some of the names.

Paul said, “Your lineage is also fascinating, The Bloodline. I can’t pronounce your last name. I’ll give a shot if you want. A-NO-WA-E, A-NO-WA-E?” Reigns replied, “Too bad, yeah Anoa’i”. The Maverick said, “Oh. That was pretty bad man.”
Reigns said he sounded close as Paul wasn’t pronouncing the pause in the name properly. However, The Head of the Table added that his last name has multiple variations and his daughter also cannot pronounce it properly.
Further Logan Paul added, “It’s that apostrophe “I” in the end. Anoa’i family then and you are Samoan. There is like a Bloodlike like A-NO-WA-E family in the WWE. High Chief Peter May-via, The Rock’s granddad, The Wild Samoans, Yokozuna, RASHIKI, Umaga, The Rock, The Usos (and) you.”
The Maverick had some questions too about why the Samoans are in wrestling. He said, “What’s up with that Samoans just like something? What’s with that? Samoans just like I’m huge I look good, I’m gonna beat the s**t out of some people.”
The Anoa’i family has a significant history not only in WWE but also in other wrestling promotions. Clearly, the Anoa’i’s have made their mark in wrestling and will grow more in the years to come.
