Being number 1 in the Royal Rumble can be very challenging, as they have to take on opponents from the very beginning, thus physically exerting them more than the others. The worthy challenger was Drew McIntyre who not only eliminated the WWE Champion from the match but also emerged victorious from the Rumble to prove himself as the befitting candidate to face him for his championship at Mania. In addition, he even slayed ‘The Beast’ at WrestleMania.
