If there is one storyline that has grasped the attention of wrestling fans for the last few years, it has to be The Bloodline. The tag team has everything that fans are hungry for – action, drama, suspense, and treachery. It’s also headed by the biggest superstar the WWE currently has on its roster, Roman Reigns. Not to mention that it has the biggest mastermind and manager in pro wrestling history, Paul Heyman, backing them up.

All of this clubbed together makes The Bloodline the best storyline to take place in a pro wrestling set-up. And that is exactly what one ex-WWE producer agrees with. Not only does he praise The Bloodline, but he’s also of the opinion that the storyline puts all other storylines in the last 30 years to shame.

Wrestling fans know very well that most of the events taking place are part of an already pre-decided storyline. Although the wrestling matches and the in-ring antics are very much real, the final outcome of the match has been decided long before. In spite of this, loyal fans throng shows and PLEs just to be a part of the madness and to glimpse their favorite stars in action. In the past, there have been various intense storylines ranging from Ministry of Darkness to Evolution to the still widely remembered rivalry between Steve Austin and Vince McMahon.

But Eric Bischoff feels that all these storylines fail in comparison to the brilliance of The Bloodline. While talking to SE Scoops correspondent MuscleManMalcolm, he said, “The Bloodline storyline. It’s had an amazing beginning. We’re still in the middle. According to Paul Heyman, we’re at the end of Act One, but I don’t know. But it’s a long-term story that has evolved. It’s kept the audience hanging on, eager to anticipate what’s going to happen next”.

He even went on to call The Bloodline the best storyline in the last 30 years. He added, “To me, that is a classic, well-crafted, disciplined storyline. I don’t think there’s much out there that can compare with it right now. In fact, I don’t think there’s anything that can compare with it over the last 25 or 30 years.”

But in spite of praising The Bloodline, Bischoff hasn’t shied away from criticizing the match between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso at SummerSlam.

While Eric Bischoff is completely on board with The Bloodline and talks about it like he could be a main writer for the storyline, he doesn’t hold back criticism for them. Especially recently, on ‘The Tribal Combat’ SummerSlam match.

He feels the match didn’t do anything emotionally for the fans. Considering all the hype that was built around it, the match did not live up to the expectations that the fans had. According to him, a lot could have been done that would have gotten fans even more excited for SmackDown that coming week, but that was not the case.
