According to sources, the tension in Brady’s marriage with Bundchen stemmed from his decision to ‘unretire’. Brady himself stated during an appearance on the Howard Stern show his wife didn’t feel like he was doing his part for the family.

Amid all this WWE Hall of Famer The Iron Sheikh made a rather tongue-in-cheek comment about Brady. A Twitter account named Bovada asked the followers to name a player who always put the team before themselves. This led to a jibe from The Sheikh.

The former WWE Champion replied to the question with a Tweet of his own. He wrote, “THE TOM BRADY ALWAYS PUT TEAM BEFORE THE MARRIAGE.”

The Iron Sheikh who has a habit of going after celebrities on social media is well-known for tweeting insults to his legendary rival Hulk Hogan on a regular basis. This time it was the turn of Brady to be at the receiving end of a thinly veiled insult by The Sheikh.

This isn’t also the first time that the pro wrestler has gone after Tom Brady. After the NFL star announced his decision to retire only to come back, Sheikh compared told him to make up his mind and hilariously pointed out that he wasn’t Terry Funk. He tweeted, “TOM BRADY MAKE UP YOUR F**KING MIND BUBBA. YOU ARE NOT THE TERRY FUNK.”

Even years after retiring, The Iron Sheikh remains the perfect heel and entertains his fans to this day. Brady may not take to these comments in a light manner, but you cannot keep the Sheikh from speaking his mind.
