Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one of the most talented people in the world. He is a successful pro wrestler, a Hollywood actor, and an entrepreneur. Not only these, but The Rock also had a brief football career.
The Rock’s passion for football is a secret to none. Recently, he even took to the field during the Super Bowl LVI game and introduced the teams – Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals.
But soon he will also have his own football league kicked off. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the owner of XFL, a professional American football league.

Initially founded by Vince McMahon, The Rock purchased the rebooted XFL league in 2020. He, along with Dany Garcia and Gerry Cardinale’s RedBird Capital, purchased the XFL for $15 million.
In 2020, the league had to end after just five weeks of action because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Later, the former WWE Champion purchased it and it was announced that the XFL action will resume in 2022.
However, after a collaboration between XFL and CFL did not take place, the return of XFL got delayed. XFL is supposed to return on February 2023, and several football fans will be excited about this.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently gave an update on XFL
In January 2022, The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment took to Instagram to provide an update on the return of XFL in 2023.
He announced that the XFL training camps will kick off in January 2023. In his post, The Rock wrote, “As an XFL owner and a man who has put his callused, dinosaur hands in the dirt – I can guarantee you that our XFL PLAYERS will be the hardest and hungriest workers in the room.”
