With his ex-wife Dany Garcia, the $800 million superstar continued his business brainstorming after gaining ownership of the rights to the XFL, a well-known football league in the United States.

To spearhead the creation of the future league known as the UFL, the USFL (U.S. Football League) merger was a significant step. Only time will tell if it becomes a hit, but for now, let’s dive into the specifics of yet another project that Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia created.

It was announced by Johnson and Garcia on December 31261 that both leagues would be merged to form a new premier football league called the UFL (United Football League). They took this to FOX’s NFL and revealed some of their vital notions concerning the league. Well, the 51-year-old was excited and revealed in his statements that his vision was to expand the football game.

Moreover, Garcia also had some vital thoughts about the league. She disclosed that the dreams of the players, coaches, and staff could be surpassed in this unified spring league. Moreover, she also looks forward to the evolution of their brainchild. With that, their vision regarding the future was evident.

The league could possibly kick off on March 3, 2024, and a report from CBS News also revealed that the opener of the season will be played by the Arlington Renegades and Birmingham Stallions, reigning champions of the XFL and USFL, respectively.

The journey of the XFL has been filled with ups and downs so far. It was first started by former WWE boss Vince McMahon in 2001, but could only last for a season. It was then restarted in 2018 but filed for bankruptcy in 2020. Then a syndicate with Johnson and Garcia bought it, and it has been intended to grow ever since.

And just to let you know, the matches of the UFL could be streamed on Fox, ABC, FS1, and ESPN. Interestingly, in this newly established accord, the former XFL president, Russ Brandon, will play a role.
