“Terry Funk Is Smiling”: Fans React as Kevin Owens Gets Legitimately Busted Open at Payback

Today Kevin Owens took on Finn Balor and Damian Priest alongside his tag team partner, Sami Zayn. Unfortunately, his team lost the match and also their Undisputed Tag Team Championship to heel faction The Judgement Day. But he sure earned tons of respect from the WWE Universe.

The bout was a hard-core one and even saw ‘The Prizefighter’ profusely bleeding at one point. Seeing Owens busted open during the match made the wrestling fans comment on how he made late WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk proud.

With blood oozing out of his head and smearing all over his face, Owens fought non-stop until the bell rang. The WWE Universe is very much impressed with the performance he displayed today and went to Twitter to acknowledge his performance today.

Kevin Owens was in full beast mode today. He used every last bit of his strength to fight against Damian Priest and Finn Balor of The Judgement Day. While doing so, he got severely injured, but that didn’t kill his momentum at all. In fact, the blood seemed to fuel his anger, and he fought harder.

The WWE Universe was very much impressed with ‘KO’ and therefore left some nice comments on Twitter about him. Here are some of those comments.

WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk passed away earlier this month on Wednesday, August 23. He was 79 years old when he took his last breath and left for his heavenly abode. He was an accomplished pro wrestler and also an equally talented actor.
