WWE’s deal with Endeavor has opened doors for ample opportunities. Perhaps the first thing that would come to someone’s mind while thinking of a merger between WWE and UFC would be cross-promotional events. While there is no guarantee that this hybrid could happen anytime soon, stars from both promotions can surely switch over to their sister companies for varied reasons.

Seeing Brock Lesnar‘s portfolio, it would only make sense if the wrestler decides to have another run at the UFC. As the merger deal is solidifying, let us look at five hints suggesting The Beast Incarnate’s potential UFC return.

Although there could be a number of reasons that could add up to Lesnar’s arrival at UFC, the Endeavor deal definitely sits at the top of the list. Without the multi-billion-dollar merger, the opportunity wouldn’t be present in the first place. So, first and foremost, this could work as a bridge between Lesnar and UFC. Lesnar could easily move for a match to UFC without it affecting much of his contractual WWE obligations.

Secondly, we can focus on the last time we saw the ‘The Beast’ in WWE. After his SummerSlam match against Cody Rhodes, Lesnar’s actions suggested that he had passed on the torch to the 38-year-old. Even though insider leaks suggest Lesnar is not yet done with his WWE tenure, he might be looking for a break from wrestling that UFC might fulfill.

The third hint could be hidden behind Lesnar’s past appearances in the UFC. The former MMA fighter fought a bout at UFC 100. Then, he coincidentally also appeared in action during UFC 200. Now, as UFC 300 is just seven monthly events away, there is hope to see him in the Octagon.

Some might consider these hints a bit far-fetched. However, his potential return to the MMA company is not merely restricted to speculations. In fact, UFC personalities have also commented on the same.

Notable UFC personalities comment on Brock Lesnar

UFC President Dana White recently spoke with Sports Illustrated. In a piece that the media house posted, they quoted White’s words as, “Brock looks good, doesn’t he? He always does.” UFC’s caretaker complimented Lesnar’s physique. Although he gave no such hints at his comeback, White mentioning Lesnar’s impeccable physique tells us that he may be planning to bring the MMA monster back to the Octagon, which could be regarded as a fourth hint.

Lastly, Jon Jones talked about how the jacked WWE wrestler could be his dream bout earlier this year. While talking to TSN, the youngest-ever UFC champ said, “I think fighting Brock Lesnar would have been really cool. Brock isn’t the most technical guy, but he has a massive fan base. He’s a lot bigger than me, and it would have been one of those really cool David and Goliath kind of situation(s).

Bones’ words clearly suggest that he is looking forward to having a match with The Beast Incarnate, which might be foreshadowing his upcoming UFC career run.
