Former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is one of the few pro wrestlers who also have a UFC link. The combat sports stalwart is currently suspended from all the current and future creative plans of WWE right now. Recently, however, The Beast Incarnate tried to partake in the career direction of Tony Ferguson.

Tony ‘El Cucuy’ Ferguson is an American UFC fighter who competes in the UFC Lightweight Division. The 40-year-old recently revealed that he had a conversation with Brock Lesnar, who has coached him before on The Ultimate Fighter. The exact word of Tony Ferguson said, “Coach (Lesnar) was cool as f***. I still keep in contact with the coach and he said, after one of my fights. May, it was like four fights ago, ‘You should think about retiring’.” Apparently, Brock Lesnar had this conversation with El Cucuy after his loss to Beneil Daruish.

Notably, Ferguson currently has a 26-10-0 record and is one of the top prospects in the lightweight divisions. While Ferguson is just six years younger than the 46-year-old Brock Lesnar, he still harbors a lot of respect for him as a coach.

Tony Ferguson further revealed that Brock Lesnar also advised him to fight hard but follow the law as well. He said, “He was real… Coolest thing was he would always tell me, ‘Save your money, pay your taxes,’ after every f***ing fight.” The Beast Incarnate mostly had to figure his own way out of his home state of Minnesota where he was confused between several options.

The NCAA Wrestling Champion could move to the NFL or continue his career as a wrestler. He also received a massive offer from WWE, which he ultimately went down with. However, it cost him a lot, as Brock Lesnar soon found himself relying on substances to get by.

Slowly, but steadily, he found his ground and took a break from WWE, fought in the UFC, and gained more freedom over his WWE schedule. Thus, it is only natural that Brock Lesnar wanted to offer some help to a fellow UFC star. What are your thoughts on this? Let them flow in the comments.
