WWE is unquestionably the biggest pro-wrestling promotion in the world. WWE rose to prominence in its Attitude Era. In addition, Mike Tyson delivered one of the iconic moments in WWE.

During the podcast, Something Else to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard, talking about Tyson’s appearance, Conrad Thompson mentioned that there was a rumor in the Wrestling Observer from Dave Meltzer that Tyson was going to be paid roughly $3.55 million for his work with the WWE. He inquired to Bruce Prichard how the locker room boys reacted when they heard of Tyson’s $3.5 million payment.

Replying to him Bruce Prichard said, “I think anytime that the boys are hearing that someone is getting paid more than them, there’s always going to be a bit of a ruckus and there’s always going to be the speculation of oh, well, they’re paying this guy, you know, three and a half million dollars and I’m sitting over here I’m only making a couple 100 thousand. They don’t take into consideration the investment that is being made, that this money isn’t coming from their pay.”

He mentioned it displeased the wrestlers when they heard Tyson will receive more than $3 million since WWE stars claimed that they could easily draw more money than him. However, Prichard stated, “Mike Tyson was an instrument to get eyeballs on the product.”

How many times has Mike Tyson appeared in the WWE?

Mike Tyson, often known as Iron Mike, is a legendary boxer. Tyson has been on WWE multiple times over the years. Additionally, members of D-Generation X inducted Tyson into the Hall of Fame in 2012.

Tyson initially appeared at WWE in 1998. Although Tyson was not invited to compete, WWE assigned Tyson for the enforcer job at WrestleMania 14 main event match. In addition, Iron Mike made his 2nd and his last WWE appearance in 2010 when he teamed up with Chris Jericho to face DX in a tag team match. However, he later turned to DX’s side and assaulted Jericho.
