Dustin Rhodes Has Only Two Words for His Brother Cody Rhodes After He Wins 2023 Royal Rumble

Cody Rhodes is the winner of this year’s Royal Rumble match and is going to headline WrestleMania 39. After being out of action for six months, the American Nightmare returned to this year’s 30-man Rumble. And he eliminated a bunch of superstars to win the match.

The WWE fans were very happy and excited to see Rhodes become this year’s Rumble winner. People bombarded social media with their happy comments for Rhodes but the one comment that stood out the most was from his brother.

Dustin Rhodes shared his reaction with the WWE Universe following the Royal Rumble victory of his half-brother. After the men’s Rumble match, the 2-time WWE Tag Team Champion went to his Twitter account to share a two words message that said, “F*ck yeah!! #CodyRhodes”

It was very clear from his tweet that former ‘Goldust’ was beyond elated to see his brother coming out victorious over all the 30 men involved in the Rumble match.

The American Nightmare was the last entrant in this year’s 30-match Royal Rumble match. Rhodes entered the ring when there were seven participants left inside the squared circle. The American Nightmare sent Dominik Mysterio, Austin Theory, Braun Strowman, and Logan Paul flying out of the ring before meeting the last opponent of his match, Gunther.

The Imperium, who broke history by lasting the longest in the men’s Royal Rumble match on Saturday, became the recipient of Cody Cutter, which led to the two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion eliminating him and picking up the victory.

Rhodes was injured last summer

The American Nightmare was out of action for almost eight long months. He last competed inside a Hell in a Cell match against Seth Rollins in June last year. Despite picking up the victory against The Visionary, Rhodes was not at the top of his health.

The former WWE Tag Team Champion suffered a torn pectoral muscle during the preparation for his match against the red brand superstar. His injury was very much evident as he was wrestling against Rollins with a big bruise over his chest that left the fans in sheer awe.
