Triple H Might Bring Back an Ex-WWE Superstar Who Said Vince McMahon “Failed” Him While Leaving the Company

Triple H became the Chief Content Officer earlier this year in the month of July. Since then, Hunter has introduced many new things to the company. One of which includes his hiring spree in which he brought many released WWE superstars back into the main roster.

A few of these are Bray Wyatt, Karrion Kross, and Braun Strowman. Now rumors are going around that The Game is planning to bring another Ex-WWE superstar in the upcoming year.

A new report has now claimed that The Former SAnitY stable member is returning to the arena under Hunter after being released by Vince McMahon in April 2020. Though there is no specific date mentioned yet, predictions are that Eric might make his return in the upcoming year 2023.

Many fans believe Young will make a guest entry in the Royal Rumble match, which will take place on January 28, 2023. Given the history of Young with Nikki Cross, some fans have speculated that WWE could pair him with her after his return to the company.

While others believe Uncle Howdy, who finally gave his appearance on SmackDown on December 16, is Young himself. However, PWInsider denied this speculation.

Also, during an interview with Wrestling Epicenter, Super Eric revealed that he once told The Boss that he failed him. “ I told Vince McMahon this to his face, ‘If you can’t find 5 minutes for me to do something, then you’ve failed!’ And I would say this to his face again”, the ex-WWE superstar said.

However, Young also mentioned that The Chairman treated him “kindly” and always listened to him when he “pitched” Mr. McMahon with new ideas. “But I have no hard feelings. He’s a genius!”, Young added.

Moreover, the Canadian professional mentions that Vince is praiseworthy for his “persistence”, “vision” and “belief ” that led pro wrestling to become “a mainstream product”.

Young’s career before coming to WWE

The 232-pounder became a part of the WWE NXT brand in 2016. Before being signed by WWE, Young was a wrestler at IMPACT Wrestling from 2004 to 2016. During his time there, he held many championships.

When he was a part of the NXT brand, Young was one of the tag Team Champions, the other one being Alexander Wolfe. He was also a part of a faction called SAnitY, which included Sawyer Fulton, Alexander Wolfe, Nikki Cross, Killian Dain, and Young himself as the members.

After his release from WWE, the former NXT Champ joined Impact Wrestling again. But as per the news, Impact Wrestling wrote off him last month.
