Despite many concerns due to the ongoing pandemic outbreak, Tokyo Olympics 2020 has been a success so far. Moreover, Novak Djokovic has become the event’s showstopper as he is on a selfie-spree with athletes from various sports. For the same, NBA star Luka Doncic took a harmless dig at the tennis World No. 1 player.
Notably, Doncic made his debut at the Olympics representing Slovenia against Argentina. In that match, the Dallas Mavericks point guard scored 48 points, the second-highest in Olympics history. And so naturally, he received an overload of admiration after Slovenia’s 118-100 win over Argentina.
After the match, the 22-year-old opened up on his Olympic debut experience. “I like being a star of the Games; I feel good to be one of the stars if I am,” Doncic said.

Olympics is inarguably the world’s biggest sporting event, where athletes from around the globe can meet one another. However, the 20-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic has received unparalleled admiration in the last four to five days.
Hence, Doncic suggested that although he’s enjoying success at the Olympics, he is not taking as many pictures as Djokovic. “I’m taking a lot of photos, yes, there could be more, although the one with the most photos is Djokovic,” he remarked.
