Fans and celebrities alike acknowledged his greatness on his special day as the great still remains the darling of tennis. But sometimes, when the wishes start to get overwhelming, some calls go unanswered. Something similar happened with Roger Federer yesterday as he couldn’t answer to a well-wisher and good friend.

A certain Hollywood actress and a good friend of Federer could not wish the legend over a call. She also happens to be the wife of the former tennis player Tommy Haas. But who is the Hollywood actress in question here?

Roger Federer failed to answer a Hollywood actress’ call

Sara Foster, the renowned American actress and the daughter of David Foster could not get on a FaceTime call with the Swiss Maestro yesterday. She took to her Instagram to express her agony. Her story included a blurry selfie of hers with a caption that read, “I got all dressed up to talk to you on your birthday @rogerfederer. Your loss for not answering.”

Foster followed up her first story with a birthday wish for the 20-time major champion. She put up an old picture with Federer where she donned a glittery dress while Federer put on a white suit. She wrote, “Happy bday @rogerfederer. We all love the hell outta ya.” Her story included two more captions. “I swear we are the same person. Minus the talent.“, said the Hollywood star, informing the followers that it was a disco party.

However, this wasn’t the first time Foster had positive words for the Federer family. In fact, she remains close with the Federers and once appreciated his wife Mirka Federer‘s dress in the past.

When Sara Foster named one of her dresses after Mirka Federer

Last year, Foster was in one of her sartorial tryout sprees where she would wear different dresses and post a picture. Once while she was at it, she posted a picture after donning a beautiful white and purple dress. The outfit was similar to a usual Mirka attire.

Foster then quickly took to Instagram to make the connection. Alongside the mirror selfie, she added the caption ‘Mirka Dress’, and uploaded it on her Instagram story. Foster’s friendship is not just limited to the Swiss Maestro, but also shares a great relationship with Mirka.
