Arnold Schwarzenegger Gives the Ultimate Compliment to 6′2″ Arnold Classic Champ Who Reminds Him of Lou Ferrigno

With the conclusion of the Arnold Classic 2024, Arnold Schwarzenegger started complimenting the newer generations for their own sets of potential of creating a legacy. The bodybuilding legend did not hesitate to praise the 30-year-old winner of this year’s Classic Physique, Wesley Vissers. Despite ranking only 7th in 2023 Mr. Olympia, Vissers made a huge leap as he came up on the stage of the Arnold Classic.

The bodybuilder instantly caught the attention of most of the judges and commentators and became a fan favorite. Apart from getting to hear that Vissers reminds Arnold Schwarzenegger of Lou Ferrigno, the former bodybuilder also praises him in different ways.

At the post-event of the 2024Arnold Classic, the American bodybuilder who hosted the events again this year, Bob Cicherillo, pointed out how the winner of this year’s classic physique is checking all of the general attributes of bodybuilders that The Austrian Oak pointed out. Cicherillo suggested, “Wesley Vissers, your 2024 Champion, posing absolutely extraordinary and a pure throwback. I think Wesley epitomizes the look of classic physique.”

In reply, Schwarzenegger started complimenting the 30-year-old bodybuilder. He mentioned how much he liked his physique and how he can inspire future generations with his build. Arnie reflected, “I have to say your posing and your physique were extraordinary. I mean you are the true winner of that category, and I think you were fantastic and I think that people will be looking up to him for a long time, to this kind of physique. So, thank you very much for the great job that you have done.”

Sitting right there in the event, Wesley Vissers did not wait to pay his respects to Arnold Schwarzenegger. He instantly revealed how he was highly influenced by the Austrian bodybuilding legend.

Vissers showed his gratitude for receiving such great compliments from the living legend himself and then proceeded to talk about how he used to get inspired by the Austrian Oak in his bodybuilding journey. He stated, “Arnold you’re my idol, and posing, I’ve been watching you for literally 50 years your old posing routines. Slowing them down on YouTube seeing exactly how the transitions are that you do and I’ve been learning from your teachings.”
