Arnold Schwarzenegger Recalls a Hilarious Golden Globes Incident Quoting Sylvester Stallone’s Mother: “Oh My Son Would’ve Been Such an Idiot… He Would’ve Done Nothing”

Arnold Schwarzenegger is undoubtedly one of the most popular figures in the sport of bodybuilding. His entire career has been promising and extraordinary, thus he made his family and relatives extremely proud. When speculated from the same angle, even Arnie’s rival-turned-friend Sylvester Stallone’s mother has also imparted a similar reaction to her son’s achievement, however, with a subtle comment.

Both Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone are known in the entertainment world for their thorough fit physique and outstanding action scenes. While Stallone gave the world characters like Rocky Balboa, Schwarzenegger portrayed the Terminator and Conan. Let us look at what happened when these two stars’ mothers interacted.

In one of his latest interviews with The Rest Is Politics, Schwarzenegger brings up several topics regarding his personal as well as professional life. After a lot of discussion, he arrived at a point where he brought up a group of proud mothers. He declared that at the Golden Globe’s WS, these mothers had been sitting and talking about their kids. Arnie recalled Staollne’s mother saying, “Oh, my son would be such an idiot”.

Later on, according to Schwarzenegger, Stallone’s mother would also argue that she was the one to recognize her son’s talent. She stated how she would pursue him to do the needful. Arnie remembered her saying, “He would have been in the school. He would have done nothing, but I pushed him to become an actor because I knew his talent right away.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger did not only talk about Stallone’s mother. In the discussion, even his mother was present and participating. He recalled how his mother contributed to the talk in a similar fashion.

Right after talking about Stallone, Schwarzenegger focused on his own mother. He found something really “funny and cute” about all these women discussing their accomplished children. His mother, he recollected, said, “Oh man I kept pushing my son I told him to train harder train hard”. But instantly, Arnie also confessed that his mother did not really care about training much.

In the world of fitness and entertainment, it becomes necessary to have family support in their ups and downs.
