Johnson is known in the fitness world for his morning routine involving 60+ pills and multigenerational plasma transfer. He finds ways to rejuvenate every part of his body, like hair, skin, joints, and vital organs, and his friend Aoki wanted him to try a cold plunge. However, before jumping into the ice-cold tub, Johnson confessed the anxiety involved.
“I mean it looks very intimidating. Steve just gave me a really encouraging pep talk. He’s going to coach me through it. So this is gonna be a pretty cool life experience,” Johnson confessed before relaxing in the water with ice cubes. The Italian Job actor follows an Intermittent Fasting (IF) routine, maintaining an 18-hour fasting window with only a 6-hour eating period. While bodybuilders generally refrain from such a diet routine, Schwarzenegger wants his fitness village to choose it over the hectic calorie counting.
In his recent newsletter edition, Arnie suggested a scientific study on two groups, which proves that the group of people on the IF diet for a year lost 10 lbs while a batch on calorie counting protocol lost 12 lbs. So, Arnie informs that Intermittent Fasting is as effective as calorie counting when it comes to weight loss.
