Chris Bumstead, a four-time Classic Physique champion, has extensive experience in the world of bodybuilding. Since the introduction of Classic Physique back in 2016, Bumstead has been ruling over the division, as he is currently preparing to win his 5th Olympia title. The 28-year-old frequently talks about how he has grown as a person during the last couple of years. He admits that the constant support of his friends and family has helped him achieve these accomplishments.

One of the biggest driving forces behind Bumstead’s success is his friend Iain Valliere. Having this mindset already, he understands Valliere’s decision and admitted his support for him in a recent Instagram post.

“Being able to listen to your heart and walk away from something so pivotal to your life is a harder decision than most people can imagine, but so necessary,” Bumstead wrote. He further continued by revealing that Ian was the one who urged Bumstead to step on the stage for the first time ever. “You’ve made me a better bodybuilder, a better man, and taught me more than you’ll ever know,” he said.

How did Ian Vallierie reply to this?

Ian Vallierie appreciated the bond that he shares with Bumstead and applauded Chris for inspiring countless individuals through his journey. “Proud to have been part of your journey and even more proud to call you my brother,” he wrote.
