In the world of boxing, there are certain matchups that capture the attention and imagination of fans worldwide. One such clash that has been eagerly anticipated is the showdown between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. These two welterweight champions are set to face off on July 29th in a fight that promises to be a battle for undisputed glory.
While the focus is currently on the impending clash with Spence, Crawford’s ambitions extend beyond this bout. The Nebraska native has long dreamed of facing boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr., believing that he could have been the one to hand ‘Money’ his first defeat. Although this hypothetical matchup will never come to fruition, the WBO champion was certainly confident in his chances against ‘TBE’.
In an episode of Million Dollaz Worth of Game when asked who would have won their hypothetical showdown, ‘Bud’ came out with a swift reply. “Me,” he said. However, Crawford’s declaration came as a surprise to many, considering Mayweather’s accomplishments in the sport. In addition, fans wasted no time in sharing their thoughts on Crawford’s assertion with many arguing in ‘Money’s’ favor.
