Arum asserted Hearn had a tremendous impact on the USA market. However, he didn’t spend the money as he should have. He added that DAZN doesn’t have a real shoulder programming (pre and post-broadcast program to supplement the main event). And it began on a shaky premise. Arum even admitted to seeing promoters like Hearn spend millions of amount to capture the US audience but failing to do so.

Can Eddie Hearn spread his wings in the American market in coming years?

The Matchroom boss dominates the UK market by having a major chunk of British boxers under his wing. He has similar plans on grabbing the attention of USA boxing fans by signing the best boxers from that country to Matchroom Sport.

Moreover, Matchroom’s recent addition of Canelo Alvarez and many more star boxers like Gennady Golovkin, Devin Haney, and more might assist him significantly to increase his share in the market.

As the world is returning to stability from the pandemic. The UK-based promoter will look to create magnetic matchups that can sell themselves well.
