Floyd Mayweather has countless friends across different verticals, predominantly from the entertainment industry. He is seen with several of those celebrities at his house parties, special outings, and occasions. However, ‘Money’ Mayweather grabbed the internet attention today when he called out his former friend, 50 Cent for an exhibition boxing clash.
Although Mayweather’s feud with 50 Cent is extensive, the duo shared a great bonding until 2012.
While the two were young, growing immensely in their careers, they partied together and hung around several times. 50 Cent even cited ‘Money’ as his brother, as both of them had countless things in common.

In fact, they entered a business venture, principally in the film industry.
But things took a turn in 2012, when there was a rift over business issues among the two. Tommy Summers asked 50 Cent to enter the boxing business under the undefeated boxer’s brand – The Money Team (TMT). Summers and 50 Cent wanted to vanquish Mayweather’s long time promoter and friend, Al Haymon, from the company to take full charge of the operations.
That’s when the relationship between them deteriorated, and Mayweather broke ties with him. Ever since that incident, the duo has painted shots at each other enormous times. 50 Cent even called out the 43-year-old for a boxing bout.
With Mayweather’s recent Instagram post, it seems he has taken his rival’s callout seriously.

Will Floyd Mayweather really compete with 50 Cent in an exhibition bout?
In the aforementioned post, ‘Money’ stated that he’ll enter the boxing ring this year multiple times. Earlier he got scheduled to face Logan Paul on February 20, but the fight has gotten temporarily postponed. But Mayweather still assured his fans of a big-money fight with ‘The Maverick’, and his brother Jake Paul as well.

Taking a dig at 50 Cent, ‘Money’ clarified he’ll contend with him only if the winner can take all the money.
