Fans Watch in Horror as Floyd Mayweather vs. John Gotti III Co-Main Event Fighter Suffers “Brutal” Cut

No wonder Floyd Mayweather Jr. is considered one of the greatest boxers alive. Mainly because he’s out there currently defying the famous sports saying, “Father Time is undefeated,” as he is boasting his flawless zero-loss record. A true invincible boxer who’s currently fighting a war against time, as he’s indulging in back-to-back exhibition fights at the age of 46 years. Mayweather is currently just a few minutes away from standing against the grandson of former mafia boss, John Gotti III. The moment, the whole FLA Live Arena has been waiting for, is going to become a spectacle to get witnessed. Notably, the first fight of the night between Kamari Burnside and Brendan Jackson was a banger, setting a standard for the rest of the card.

But the fans were in awe after watching the second clash between Khalas Karim and Ulysses Diaz. Diaz was formerly the head of security for Pitbull, but then turned pro and even broke the World’s Fastest Combat Sports KO record. On the other hand, Karim is currently the ‘Wicked ‘n Bad’ Light Heavyweight Champion.

Their rematch fight went on for eight rounds, although there was a technical glitch in the number of rounds. Some fans even speculated it to be a 9-round fight. Both fighters went toe-to-toe against each other, and Diaz even suffered a bruise above his right eye. The fans were concerned about the fighter’s cut and shared views on the enthralling co-main event contest.

“Badly cut by the eye”: Diaz’s injury leaves boxing world concerned

Daniel Yanofsky pointed out the deadly cut on Ulysses’s eye, writing, “looks brutal”.

Another fan named B Plus reviewed the bout and predicted that Diaz may lose the bout because of the brutal cut on his eye. And also stated that Karim turned out to be a heavy opponent for him.

Daniel Yanofsky again tweeted about the extra round conundrum, questioning if it is a mistake.

B Plus also tweeted again about the comments made by Karim post-fight where he showed interest in fighting against the Influencer boxer, Salt Papi.
